Internal Regulations & General Conditions
The general terms and conditions and the internal regulations form an integral part of the contract and must be accepted before the sale is concluded. The reservation request implies acceptance of these provisions and their complete and unreserved acceptance. The rooms made available to our customers are checked, functional and in good condition. Our guests are invited to report any shortcomings or malfunctions immediately to the Villa Ségur reception.
ARTICLE 1
RESERVATION
It is recommended that anyone wishing to stay at Villa Segur book in advance and obtain the agreement of the establishment. At the time of any reservation a valid credit card number is required. The contract is deemed to have been concluded as soon as the agreement between the parties has been reached. The reservation is only firm and definitive after receipt of the confirmation sent to the guest by the hotel. The full payment of the stay is made directly to the establishment.
ARTICLE 2
MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION AND COMMITMENT
In case of cancellation or modification up to 2 days before the arrival date, the establishment does not charge any fees. Less than 2 days before arrival, 100% of the stay is due. For the "Non-refundable, non-cancellable" and "Early booking" rates, the prepayment will be made at the time of booking, therefore the booking will no longer be cancellable without charge. In the event that the total amount of the reservation exceeds €1,000, the hotel reserves the right to request a 30% deposit as confirmation of the reservation. These will be refunded in case of cancellation at the latest 2 weeks before the arrival date. Late arrivals or early departures cannot give rise to a refund.
ARTICLE 3
Anyone wishing to stay at Villa Segur is required to disclose their identity and that of the people accompanying them.
ARTICLE 4
The client may not bring into the room third parties not known to the establishment, unless authorized by the latter. Similarly, the client may not rent a room for a number of persons greater than that provided for by the regulations in force. The double rooms in the "Classic", "Superior", "Studio" and "Prestige Suite" categories are exclusively designed to accommodate 1 to 2 people maximum.
Only the "Apartment" can be equipped with an extra bed to accommodate two children under 16 years of age or a cot for a child 3 years of age or younger. The rooms in the "Superior" and "Suite Prestige" categories can accommodate a cot on request and with the agreement of the hotel owner. Pets are accepted in the establishment with a supplement of 10€ per day and per animal.
ARTICLE 5
THE PRICE
Prices are indicated in Euros. VAT is always included. The prices indicated include only the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. In addition to the price mentioned in the reservation, the additional services provided by the establishment during the stay will be added to the invoice.
The applicable prices are those in force on the day of booking. The institution is free to change its prices at any time. Also, the price displayed during a visit on the www.villavictorlouis.com website or on an online booking site is only valid for bookings made during the time it is displayed. Only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is contractual.
ARTICLE 6
THE PAYMENT
All services are paid for during the stay directly to the establishment, with the exception of special offers such as "non-refundable, non-refundable" rates, the amount of which may be debited before the customer's arrival. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. It is also possible to pay by cheque on presentation of an identity card or in cash. A credit card number will always be required as a guarantee.
ARTICLE 7
THE TOURIST TAX
The tourist tax, not included in the price of the room, is in force in the commune of Bordeaux. It is payable on site. Amount 2016: €1.30 per person over 18 years old per night.
ARTICLE 8
ROOMS ACCESS
Upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed by the establishment, the guest may not require to occupy the room before 4 p.m. The guest is asked to plan to arrive at the hotel before 9pm and to inform the hotelier in case of late arrival. The overnight rental ends at noon, regardless of the client's arrival time. The guest may request to keep his room beyond noon after having obtained the agreement of the hotelier. A supplement of 20€ per hour started may be requested.
A luggage service allows customers to leave their luggage at the reception desk of the establishment. Upon arrival, the client will inquire about the operating hours of the various services of Villa Segur.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am on weekdays and from 7:30 am to 10:30 am on weekends.
ARTICLE 9
THE DEPARTURE
At the time of departure, the guest must hand over the key to his room at the reception desk. He is prohibited from taking any object belonging to Villa Segur with him: he must inform the establishment if he notices a misunderstanding and send it back, otherwise he will be charged. (100€ per key)
ARTICLE 10
RESPECT FOR THE REST OF OTHER CLIENTS
Noise, even during the day, is prohibited. The customer causing disorder or scandal in any form whatsoever may be dismissed immediately. In the interest of the tranquility of the establishment, all noise must stop between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
ARTICLE 11
RESPONSABILITIES
Children are the sole responsibility of the adults accompanying them.
ARTICLE 12
THE INTERDICTIONS
For safety reasons and for the respect of everyone, it is strictly forbidden to smoke throughout the establishment. In accordance with decree n°2006-1386 of 15 November 2006 setting the conditions for the application of the smoking ban in places used for collective use, smoking in Villa Segur exposes you to an additional charge of 68€ or legal proceedings.
Any untimely activation of the fire alarm for non-compliance with this provision will be charged 300€ for the cost of restarting the fire safety system. Similarly, it is forbidden to cook or eat in the rooms or to do your laundry.
ARTICLE 13
THE DEGRADATION
The customer must use the rented item as a "good family man". In the event of a problem, the customer must incur civil liability. In the event of damage, the establishment reserves the right to charge the customer for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infringement noted after the customer's departure, where the amount of compensation will be debited to the customer's credit card.
ARTICLE 14
CLAIM
Any complaint about the quality of the services provided must be submitted to Villa Segur immediately.
ARTICLE 15
FORGOTTEN BUSINESS
Forgotten items found in the establishment may be returned to the client upon request and at the client's expense.
ARTICLE 16
ACCEPTANCE OF PAYMENT
The Villa Segur's internal rules and general conditions apply to all bookings. Any stay implies acceptance of the general conditions and internal regulations of Villa Segur. Failure to comply with the above provisions shall result in immediate termination of the contract.
